I know when I was younger I never wanted to listen to my mom or dad's advice because they were my parents and I didn't like the idea of them being right all the time :) and sometimes I still find myself feeling that way, like they don't really get what I am going through because they are old, haha, and its been a long time since they've been in my shoes, etc... I do sometimes listen to their advice but more often I talk to my best friend. I can usually put it all out there with her, but it is true that even sometimes I don't tell her everything. I think everyone hides part of themselves from the world. and it is like you said, sometimes it is the hardest to be completely real with the people you love most because you don't want to let them down or feel their judgment, even if it does come from a place of love.<br /><br />ok, that's enough rambling from me. just thought I'd give my two cents :)Carissa Thilgenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17461334542105430269noreply@blogger.com
